JaeYoung Kleinfeld L.Ac

Licensed Acupuncturist

JaeYoung Kleinfeld L.Ac is NCCAOM board-certified diplomate in Acupuncture and is licensed in New Jersey. Jae majored in special education at Daegu University, in South Korea. There she taught children with autism and Down Syndrome at Korea's first special school for children (kids under 8years old). At the same time, she started doing Qi gong as she had stress-induced insomnia from the high demands of teaching. Not only did Qi gong improve her health condition, but it also gave her a better understanding of special needs. She realized that she could control her emotions instead of being enslaved by them. After gaining that experience, she felt inclined to share it with people who go through emotional stress. As a result, she became a Qi gong instructor and started delving into alternative medicine. Jaeyoung earned her Master's degree from The Virginia University of Integrative Medicine in Ridgefield, NJ with both acupuncture and herbal medicine. During her schooling, she also had an internship with Dr. Lim, who specializes in women’s health and with Dr. Choo, who is a former president VUIM. He also is. a master of Korean four needle technique and Korean herb medicine. Jae specializes in both Chinese and Korean style acupuncture, as well as Chinese and Korean herbal medicine. She excels at helping patients with internal medicine issues, including insomnia, headaches, digestive problems and urinary difficulties. She also works as an adjunct professor at VUIM.
