Although I was reluctant to try acupuncture again I decided to give it one more try especially after I found out that he had worked with my chiropractor who highly recommended him. Well I must say that it was well worth it! Peter has helped me so much! My pain is dramatically reduced in only a few sessions, I am no longer afraid of the needles, I sleep better and I actually look forward to my sessions! He is very kind, very gentle and extremely professional. I have been to 7 or 8 different acupuncturists and there is no doubt in my mind that Peter DeCicco is the best! Before coming... read more here I could barely last an hour walking or standing without having to lay down and rest my back multiple times during the day, I tried physical therapy even acupuncture at another place and back medications and nothing was working for me. I had very little hope walking in but figured I'd give acupuncture another go since another friend recommended this place after having gone and been successful. Now I can't wait for my next treatment! His advice and care for my treatment is above and beyond! I'm back to doing activities with my kiddos, doing Pilates and yoga. WOW! My pain has reduced drastically & my medications have become almost unnecessary. I have now been going every week now for a couple months and plan to continue as I am learning that Dr DeCicco specializes in many forms of pain management. I had a C4/5 herniated disk about 10 years ago that wound up with a fluoroscopy guided steroid epidural treatment for pain. About 3 years post procedure I was feeling weakness and tiredness in my neck especially at night. Not wanting to have another surgical procedure done, I decided to try acupuncture. Pete and his staff were very up front with what I could expect and what my out of pocket responsibility would be. We even discussed a treatment plan that would be best for me moving forward. I’ve now been a patient for about 6 years and wouldn’t trust anyone else to treat my neck. He’s helped me with not only pain management, but managing stress, anxiety and general maintenance. I recommend DeCicco Acupunture to anyone looking for a non-surgical approach to getting their body back on track.

Peter listened to what I had to... read more say and showed tremendous empathy. He explained the different reasons why my body responded the way it did. In the first weeks that Peter worked on me I was able to pinpoint the exact areas that slowed me down. This was an improvement to just aching all over. And now I have an episode of discomfort (as when I over do it) now and then instead of daily powerlessness. I rarely recommend health professionals because people tend to create high expectations that can never be met. But here I did not hesitate. I have recommended Peter to friends who have tried traditional methods of pain care. They too are happy, and hence have also recommended friends and family. This is why I gave Peter’s practice 5 stars.
