In the first weeks that Peter worked on me I was able to pinpoint the exact areas that slowed me down. This was an improvement to just aching all over. And now I have an episode of discomfort (as when I over do it) now and then instead of daily powerlessness. I rarely recommend health professionals because people tend to create high expectations that can never be met. But here I did not hesitate. I have recommended Peter to friends who have tried traditional methods of pain care. They too are happy, and hence have also recommended friends and family. Although I was reluctant to try acupuncture again I decided to give it one more try especially after I found out that he had worked with my chiropractor who highly recommended him. Well I must say that it was well worth it! Peter has helped me so much! My pain is dramatically reduced in only a few sessions, I am no longer afraid of the needles, I sleep better and I actually look forward to my sessions! He is very kind, very gentle and extremely professional. I have been to 7 or 8 different acupuncturists and there is no doubt in my mind that Peter DeCicco is the best!   I'm at week 4 now doing acupuncture at DeCicco with Peter and I'm in the best mental and physical health than I've been in the past 9 months. Before coming... read more here I could barely last an hour walking or standing without having to lay down and rest my back multiple times during the day, I tried physical therapy even acupuncture at another place and back medications and nothing was working for me. I had very little hope walking in but figured I'd give acupuncture another go since another friend recommended this place after having gone and been successful. Now I can't wait for my next treatment! His advice and care for my treatment is above and beyond! I'm back to doing activities with my kiddos, doing Pilates and yoga. Everyone here from the front desk is amazing (Michelle is a gem!). I highly recommend if you're having back issues or stress issues to give them a visit, you won't be disappointed.

  Back in the beginning of May I woke up one day and the whole left side of my face had no movement! I am 34 years old and the next... read more day was diagnosed with Bell’s palsy. My sister did some research for me and learned that acupuncture has had great success. We immediately reached out to Pete at DeCicco Acupuncture. I was so freaked out that I would never get movement back in my face. After only my first two sessions with Pete we started to notice at least 85% movement back. I went for another 4 sessions, but by session 4 we saw 100% movement back! I was so pleased with how comfortable Pete and Michelle made me feel and at the very same time so professional and informative. After my Bell’s palsy appointments were complete, for over a month after, I started to feel this pulsating feeling in my right ear. All day every day! I went back to Pete and right away after one session I was amazed. Not only did the pulsating feeling basically go away, we realized the tightness in my neck and shoulders. The very next day I felt like I went for a deep tissue massage. I went back for a 2nd appointment only because I felt that pulsating feeling one more time. I have never felt more relaxed ever in my life then I had at every appointment. I had a C4/5 herniated disk about 10 years ago that wound up with a fluoroscopy guided steroid epidural treatment for pain. About 3 years post procedure I was feeling weakness and tiredness in my neck especially at night. Not wanting to have another surgical procedure done, I decided to try acupuncture. Pete and his staff were very up front with what I could expect and what my out of pocket responsibility would be. We even discussed a treatment plan that would be best for me moving forward. I’ve now been a patient for about 6 years and wouldn’t trust anyone else to treat my neck. He’s helped me with not only pain management, but managing stress, anxiety and general maintenance. I recommend DeCicco Acupunture to anyone looking for a non-surgical approach to getting their body back on track.

  There are really no words to describe the appreciation I have for Pete and his practice. After I completed two rounds of IVF with “poor quality” egg results, my doctor... read more told me there was nothing I could do. I asked about acupuncture and he told me it would only ease my anxiety, nothing with the quality of eggs or my cycle. As a medical provider myself, I knew this just sounded wrong. I left his practice and went to another fertility practice who had a different approach and truly supported acupuncture. I also began to google fertility acupuncturists “near me” with late hours and weekend hours that worked for my work schedule -DeCicco Acupuncture was all the above. I first met Pete 2/2023 as a desperate helpless person trying to become pregnant. He listened to me and created a plan to optimize my results. After going to Pete and Lindsie for 4 months, two times a week (longer than initially planned due to delayed cycles), I went forward with my third egg retrieval at my new clinic. The retrieval yielded astoundingly different results than my first two cycles. We were able to freeze 5 embryos of decent - excellent quality. I literally cried tears of joy. I continued to see Pete twice a week to prep for my transfer 2 months later. Our first transfer was 8/21/2023 and my son was born 4/20/2024. It took me a really long time to write this review as the whole IVF process makes you very superstitious of how many things can go wrong or get delayed. I sit here writing this, looking at my son, and am so thankful for my google that led me to Pete. Over the months, he became a friend who I will gladly go back to any day for treatment. If you are trying to get pregnant and are struggling, please don’t hesitate any longer and make your acupuncture appointment. It is the best money you will ever spend.
